It's FALL Y'ALL

Happy first day of Fall! Today seems like the perfect day for my first blog post, not only because Fall is my FAVORITE, but also because tonight I will be attending my very first fashion show! On today's post I will be talking about my essentials for Kansas City Fashion Week, as well as my outfit choice for the event tonight and later on this week I will post some of my favorite looks from tonight's show! 

I'm so excited for tonight, I have always wanted to attend Kansas City Fashion Week but I lived way too far away. Now that I live closer to KC I have no excuse! This year KCFW kicks off with a night time show at One Light Luxury Apartments on the rooftop. They are having a DJ and cocktails.. Plus FASHION?! Rooftop + DJ + cocktails + fashion = a dream of a concoction for good old Stephanie right here.

I tried not to tear up my closet too much looking for an outfit, and I think I succeeded. I started getting ready really early, as I have an hour drive and am hitting up happy hour with a friend beforehand. I'm also waiting on UPS to deliver me a new iPhone... I'd tell you that story, but it was a really SHITTY situation (if you're picking up what I'm putting down... 🚽) 

I'm totally in LOVE with fall fashion, and usually once Labor Day hits I'm excited to bust out my booties. But since it's still a little warm here in Missouri, I decided to combine some neutral fall colors with a pop of color. 

Some of my essentials to get through the night include my makeup setting spray (because I have a long day/night ahead of me) lip stain, body spray, blister band aids in case my shoes rub funny, GUM, because I'm going to happy hour and they are serving Chipotle and you better believe I'm eating a burrito, and concealer in case I spray body spray into my mouth (this may or may not have actually happened..)
