I am not Irish by heritage but I am Irish through marriage (my last name is McClure) so when it comes to celebrating St. Patrick's Day, the pressure is on. My husband is obviously Irish and this is one of his favorite holidays. We all know how I feel about parties with a theme, and you can see a SPD cocktail that I posted here, but the most important thing about this holiday is that you have to wear green! Seasons are changing and I'm loving all the new stuff that's popping up in stores and online. It's also that time of year for spring cleaning, so out with the old, in with the new! I like to clean out my closet and either sell stuff on Mercari or take it to a consignment shop. That way I don't feel as guilty when I buy something new! Here are a few things on my wish list:

Today is my day off, and instead of sitting around being completely useless like last Wednesday, I've decided to get some stuff done around the house that I've been putting off. It is storming here in Missouri (in November.. So strange) and the power is out, so I figure this is a good time to clean my makeup brushes.

A long time ago I read that you can clean your makeup brushes with dish soap, so I tried it and it worked wonders! I have been using it ever since. It's a very easy process and SO much cheaper than all the products out there! Here's what you do:

During the month of October you see the color pink everywhere. All sorts of stores are selling merchandise and t-shirts, there are fundraising walks galore, even the sports teams get involved with wearing pink. Breast Cancer Awareness Month holds a special place in my heart, because I've had three family members who have had breast cancer, and thankfully survived. In honor of the month, I would like to share my favorite pink accessories!

It's FALL Y'ALL

Happy first day of Fall! Today seems like the perfect day for my first blog post, not only because Fall is my FAVORITE, but also because tonight I will be attending my very first fashion show! On today's post I will be talking about my essentials for Kansas City Fashion Week, as well as my outfit choice for the event tonight and later on this week I will post some of my favorite looks from tonight's show! 

I'm so excited for tonight, I have always wanted to attend Kansas City Fashion Week but I lived way too far away. Now that I live closer to KC I have no excuse! This year KCFW kicks off with a night time show at One Light Luxury Apartments on the rooftop. They are having a DJ and cocktails.. Plus FASHION?! Rooftop + DJ + cocktails + fashion = a dream of a concoction for good old Stephanie right here.
