sweater cami + scuba leggings | fall style

sweater cami | cardigan, similar here | leggings | booties | purse

One of my favorite fall colors is this orangy, cognac, saddle color, and I love it combined with black. There's something about the look of a cami in the summertime, and I love this one that is made of sweater material, making it perfect for fall. I bought it in a size up to accomodate my baby bump, but I'll definitely still be able to wear it post bump, possibly with a little tuck in the front, or even tucked into a high-waisted skirt.

I love these leggings (see this look here and this look here) and took a chance with them for this look, and the band was just thick enough to lay under my baby bump even though they're not maternity. They're from last season but are still available, and I've worn them a lot and they're still in good shape after multiple wears and washes. These booties were my birthday present to myself last year, and they brought them back this year which I'm so excited about because they're so much fun and they go with just about anything. I have a clutch very similar to this one that I bought several years ago, and it's gotten a lot of use and is showing some wear, so I was excited when I found the perfect replacement for it!

This week is a big one for me and the hubs because we close on our new house and will be slowly moving in the next couple weeks. I never in my life thought I'd be moving at 9 months pregnant, but I guess there's never a dull moment for the McClures! Now hopefully baby girl stays put a little longer! Thanks for reading! XO

cold shoulder sweater | winter style

sweater, similar here and here, also love this one | leggings, also love these here | otk boots | purse

I never thought I'd buy a cold shoulder top of any sort - I actually despised the trend when it first came about. But this just goes to prove that you should never say never when it comes to fashion! I am IN LOVE with this sweater! It is so thick, comfy, and perfect for winter, and the cold shoulder detail gives it a chic twist.

Another trend that took me a while to try was OTK boots. I have thick thighs, so I was worried they wouldn't fit me right, but the tie at the top makes them perfectly adjustable and they're tight in just the right spots so that they don't fall down. I'm obsessed with these boots paired with scuba leggings, and I can't wait to try them out with skinny jeans, or even with a skirt!

What do you guys think of the cold shoulder trend? Yay or nay? Let me know in the comments below! Thanks for reading! XO

casual look // sweater + quilted bootie

It has been a crazy busy past couple of weeks for me and I know I just went to Miami this month but I'm going to say it anyway - I am so ready for vacation. I've been looking forward to this upcoming trip for a while. While the weather has been unseasonably warm and I love it, I haven't been able to enjoy it much. So this particular night I asked the hubs to take off work early and take me out for Mexican food and cervesas... and he did! I know we are transitioning into spring, but with the leaves blowing around and all the bare branches it feels like fall to me, so sweater and booties it is.

circle hem sweater + scuba leggings

I bought this sweater a while back because I loved the color, not knowing that soon this style would be all over the place. I'm so glad I did because it is so comfy and I love the circle hem detail! I bought it with these scuba leggings knowing that I wanted to pair them together, and I love the way it looks. The circle hem falls right above the zipper detail on the leggings as if they were made for each other. These leggings are very comfortable when on... they definitely do not look like they would be! So that was a pleasant surprise!

s w e a t e r w e a t h e r

It has definitely cooled off here in Missouri, and last night we went to a bonfire so of course I busted out one of my favorite sweaters and a pair of boots. In the Midwest it's hard to say when summer actually stops and fall begins but it's looking like it the hot, hot days might be behind us. I do have to admit, as much as I love sweater weather,
